The evil lairs of Ursula, Cruella de Vil, Maleficent, and other villains have been recreated as Polly Pockets! TheToyZone has created Disney Villains Polly Pocket digital models! I would be lying if I said I wasn’t low key jealous that I didn’t get to have these as a kid! I was obsessed with Polly Pocket.

Disney Villains Polly Pocket

Polly Pocket has evolved massively since Chris Wiggs first built a tiny dollhouse in a powder compact for his daughter, Kate, in 1983. Since then, the concept has been relaunched, redesigned, and publicized with spin-off shows and a
trilogy of movies.

Over the years, various Disney princesses have been treated to their very own official shiny Polly Pockets! However, the Disney Villains have always been left out.

TheToyZone decided to digitally create lairs for six terrifying Disney villains:

  • Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty
  • Cruella De Vil from 101 Dalmatians
  • The Evil Queen from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
  • Ursula from Little Mermaid
  • Stinky Pete from Toy Story 2
  • Captain Hook from Peter Pan

How did TheToyZone make these images?

TheToyZone worked with CGI artist Jan Koudela for their first Polly Pocket project and were thrilled he
returned to also produce these villain worlds. The team’s art director Povilas collaborated with Jan on a
moodboard of memorable images from each villain’s appearance in the six movies. Jan next sketched
the toys and then 3D-modelled the final Polly Pockets using Cinema4D. Jan and Povilas were careful to
capture the essence of real Polly Pocket toys rather than forcing the Disney aesthetic into each box.

I am obsessed, and I hope that these models become a reality!
