Disney Updates Same Day Dining Reservation Cancellation Policy in My Disney Experience
Disney has just updated the Same Day Dining Reservations Cancellation Policy for Walt Disney World! Previously guests were unable to make same-day cancellations in the My Disney Experience App instead they would have to call Disney or pay the $10 No Show Fee.

However, now Disney has changed the same-day cancellation policy!!! Guest can now cancel their Disney World Dining Reservation up to 2 hours before their reservation time on the My Disney Experience app without a penalty or having to call Disney!
Note this does not apply to pre-paid meals.
The Walt Disney World Website still states guests must cancel at least one day before the reservation, but we expect the wording will be changing soon.
You must cancel at least one day prior to your reservation to avoid a per-person cancellation fee. If you fail to cancel timely and are a no-show, the credit card provided at the time of the reservation will be charged $10.00 per person.
