Introducing Magic Kingdom’s All-New Disney Starlight Popcorn Mix

It’s important to note for eager snackers that while a stunning “Disney Starlight” themed popcorn bucket is available, the special Starlight popcorn mix is sold separately. The themed bucket, which costs $14.25 and comes with regular popcorn, can be found at various popcorn carts around Magic Kingdom. However, to get your hands on this new, vibrant mix, you’ll need to head exclusively to the Main Street Confectionery. The mix itself comes in a generic red popcorn container, but trust us, what’s inside is far from ordinary.

We first caught a glimpse of this sweet creation during the parade’s media merchandise preview, and we’ve finally had the chance to dive in and taste it! The Disney Starlight popcorn mix features a medley of flavors and textures: bubble gum and blue raspberry candy popcorn, scattered with classic M&M’s Milk Chocolate Candies, soft mini-marshmallows, and a generous white chocolate drizzle.
Upon first bite, the predominant flavor on the popcorn is unmistakably bubble gum, though notes of blue raspberry certainly come through. While the blue raspberry in particular had a somewhat artificial taste, it surprisingly worked well within the mix. It evoked a delightful sense of childhood nostalgia, reminiscent of those classic bubble gum and blue raspberry candies. The addition of the M&M’s provides a much-needed crunchy texture, expertly balancing the chewier, candied popcorn. And for those with a serious sweet tooth, the white chocolate drizzle adds yet another layer of sugary goodness, ensuring this is definitely not a savory snack.
Overall, the Disney Starlight popcorn is a genuinely enjoyable and fun experience. It leans heavily into sweetness and has a distinct artificial candy flavor, delivering a powerful bubblegum-raspberry explosion.
