We are just two days away from the debut of the all-new “Disney Dreams That Soar” nighttime drone show at Disney Springs. The addition of the new show has prompted some operational changes to enhance your evening experience. Here’s everything you need to know about the new show and the updated hours for various activities and transportation services.

Operational Changes

Vintage Amphicar Tours: Typically running from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., the tours will now conclude at 8 p.m. This change allows for a clear and unobstructed view of the upcoming drone show.

Aerophile — The World Leader in Balloon Flight: This popular attraction, which usually operates from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., will also end its flights at 8 p.m. to ensure an undisturbed sky for the drones.


Sassagoula River Cruise: The scenic cruises between Disney Springs and Disney’s Old Key West Resort, Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, Port Orleans Resort – Riverside, and Port Orleans – French Quarter will also adjust their schedules. The final departure from Disney Springs, previously at 11:30 p.m., will now be at 8 p.m.

About “Disney Dreams That Soar”

From May 24 through September 2, 2024, Disney Springs will dazzle guests with “Disney Dreams That Soar,” performed nightly above Lake Buena Vista on the West Side. There will be two showings each evening, at 9 p.m. and 10:45 p.m., giving guests plenty of opportunities to catch this breathtaking performance.

The show will feature 800 drones creating stunning visuals and bringing beloved Disney characters to life, including those from “Star Wars,” “Toy Story,” “WALL-E,” “Big Hero 6,” and more. Accompanied by enchanting Disney musical scores, the drones will create a magical synergy with MagicBand+ for an immersive experience.

Viewing Areas

Prime viewing spots for “Disney Dreams That Soar” are located on the Disney Springs West Side, along the waterfront between the Cirque du Soleil Theatre and the Aerophile. These areas will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to arrive early to secure a good spot.

Plan Your Visit

As you plan your visit to Disney Springs during this period, remember to account for the adjusted hours of the Vintage Amphicar Tours, Aerophile, and Sassagoula River Cruise. By ending these activities earlier in the evening, Disney ensures that everyone can enjoy an unobstructed view of the magical drone show.
