Disney Reveals Sneak Peek of Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs Coaster, Coming to Hong Kong Disneyland
Hong Kong Disneyland is getting a new Frozen-themed land! Included in the area is a new coaster called Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs. Disney shared a look at the new coaster on Twitter recently.

Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs will be the first Frozen-themed coaster ride. The story is that Oaken himself built the ride and it is powered by Olaf and Sven. The two friends work together to pull the sleighs to the top of the lift hill.
The attraction looks similar to Seven Dwarfs Mine Train at Magic Kingdom and Shanghai Disneyland.
“Hoo Hoo 👋 We’re thrilled to share a #FirstLookFromHKDL of Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs at #WorldOfFrozen! The FIRST Frozen-themed coaster ride, soon you will be able to embark on a scenic ride designed and built by Wandering Oaken himself at Hong Kong Disneyland.
The ride will be powered by his buddies Olaf and Sven as they work together to pull the sleighs to the top of the lift hill. Who else can’t wait to experience Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs when the gates finally open in the second half of 2023?”
The ride is set to open later this year along with the rest of the new World of Frozen. Walt Disney Imagineering also shared a video of project team members and cast members getting a first ride on the new attraction. Take a look!
