Disney Returns Fully Working Iphone 11 To Family Weeks After Device Sank To Bottom Of Seven Seas Lagoon

Back in October Lisa and Jacob Troyer were vacationing at Walt Disney World with their daughter Sophie having the time of their lives!

One of the highlights of their trip was attending Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party and meeting amazing characters while going trick or treating.

Unfortunately their vacation didn’t end up as expected. The night after the Halloween party, the family was waiting for the ferry to head back to their resort when Lisa’s Iphone fell out of her bag and landed all the way at the bottom of the Seven Seas Lagoon.

“I was upset to have lost my phone and the pictures i had taken that evening at Disney’s Halloween party, which had been the main event of our trip” mentioned Lisa. “Our six year old daughter was devastated as pictures of her and Jack Skellington would never materialized. Instead they sat at the bottom of a lagoon”.

The next day Lisa told a cast member what happened and they informed her Disney had a team of scuba divers that collect missing objects from the Seven Seas Lagoon, so there was a slim chance of getting the Iphone back. They took their information and the family went back home.

A few months later Lisa got a few calls from an Orlando number but she ignored them thinking it was a telemarketer, little did she know the mysterious number was from Disney!! and they had amazing news!

The Iphone 11 was retrieved from the depths of the Seven Seas Lagoon and it was fully working. The Iphone 11 is known to be water resistance but the family still had low hopes for the phone to be found or that it was even functional.

Disney mailed the Iphone back to them and the family was able to recover all the pictures from the party. Lisa said the phone only had a bit of sand inside the silicon case and some algae on the cover.

Way to go Disney and Apple! A happy ending for a family of Montana after all.
