After making it’s debut October 9, 2003, tonight we say good-bye to Disney’s Wishes at Magic Kingdom.
This nighttime spectacular enchanted guests with all their favorite Disney songs and the voices of Disney characters in the biggest fireworks extravaganza in Magic Kingdom park history. Wishes quickly became Disney’s most beloved fireworks show, there will not be a dry eye in the Magic Kingdom tonight that’s for sure. Disney’s newest fireworks display “Happily Ever After” will debut tomorrow night.
Don’t miss your chance to say good-bye to Wishes. Join Chip and Co. live on Facebook from the Magic Kingdom tonight at 9pm and we can all cry together.

My apologies. “2013” is seen in the FB post with the link leading to this article.
I believe there is a typo. It is stated here that Wishes began in 2013. I believe it was 2003.
