Disney Relaxes Dress Code for Central Florida Cast Members.

The Daily Disneyis reporting that Disney is relaxing the dress code for some employees. Professional, non-costumed female staff will now be allowed to wear open-toed shoes and modest sleeveless tops.  Men will be able to wear “Tommy Bahama” style untucked shirts.   But undoubtedly the most welcomed news is that the pantyhose requirement has been lifted for cast members who don’t require hose as part of their costume.    Notes the Daily Disney’s Jason Garcia,

Female employees say the dropping of the pantyhose requirement is the most substantial change Disney has made to its appearance policies since 2000, when it finally scrapped a longstanding ban on mustaches. Disney tweaked its guidelines again a few years later by deciding to permit male employees to style their hair in cornrows.
