Disney World Refurbishment and Closure Schedule for March 2024

Refurbishments and updates are a regular thing at Disney parks. We’ve got the refurbishment and closure schedule for March at Walt Disney World. If you’ll be visiting next month, you’ll want to know about these closures ahead of time!

Disney World Water Parks

Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park will be closing on March 17, 2024 for an annual refurbishment. Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park will reopen the same day.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

At Disney’s Hollywood Studios Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster is closed now through summer of 2024.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Kali River Rapids at Disney’s Animal Kingdom is closed now through March 14.

Magic Kingdom

Over at Magic Kingdom Country Bear Jamboree is closed while it gets re-themed. It will reopen sometime this summer as Country Bear Musical Jamboree. Also opening this summer will be the new Tiana’s Bayou Adventure (formerly Splash Mountain).
