Disney reaches an agreement with Call Center Cast Member Union on furloughs

Disney and the Call Center Cast Member Union have reached a furlough agreement for hourly Guest Services Call Center and Telecommunications Service Cast Members.

In the agreement, Disney will maintain health insurance, educational support and additional employee assistance programs during the temporary furlough that starts on April 19th, 2020.

Earlier this week Disney reached a similar agreement with the Musician Union on furloughs as well.

This furlough will allow cast members to collect unemployment and to come back to work when the Disney Theme Parks reopen.
