Have you ever played the game “Fortunately, Unfortunately“? This is our family’s favorite game to play while Waiting in line at Disney World. It is so popular that other eavesdropping guests have joined in! It begins like this…one person states an obvious fact. Others follow alternately with either negativity (unfortunately) or positivity (fortunately!)
Mom: “Fortunately, we got fastpasses for this ride! ”
Dad: “Unfortunately, we missed our time slot. ”
Son: “Fortunately, we were able to see Jack Sparrow instead!”
Daughter: “UnNforunately, we are now waiting in this huge line as our fastpasses are no longer good. ”
Back to MOM: “Fortunately, we are in a line at Disney and NOT at the grocery store! ”
Dad: ” Unfortunately, I am hungry now that you mentioned a grocery store…”
and so on…
