Disney Plans on Simplifying the Genie+ and Lightning Lane Experience
Walt Disney World is planning on simplifying the Genie+ and Lightning Lane experience in 2024! This announcement came along with a lot of other updates yesterday.

Disney heard from guests that they would like ways to plan with Disney Genie+ service and individual Lightning Lane selections before the day of their park visit, and they are working on ways guests may do this for visits in 2024. The goal is to give guests the opportunity to spend less time planning in the park and more time enjoying their visit with friends and family.
Guests have been disappointed with how much screen time is required to us Disney Genie+ in the parks. Many want to be able to put their phones away and enjoy being in the moment with family and friends. Disney has realized this is an issue for many guests and is working on a positive change.
Disney hasn’t shared any specifics but will release more information at a later date. Stay tuned!
