Disney Pixar’s ‘Soul’ Earns Rare 100% Fresh Rating on Rotten Tomatoes From Critics. Disney-Pixar’s Soul already has critics raving on the reputed critiquing site, Rotten Tomatoes. The first batch of reviews are in and Soul has earned a a coveted 100% fresh rating from critics making one of a handful of films to maintain the highest rating possible on the site. Though this score will fluctuate as more reviews come in and after audiences respond after the premiere we are still impressed by this feat! Congrats, Disney-Pixar!
Admittedly, at the time of writing only 17 critics have shared their reviews, but it is very impressive and promising that the first group of critics are all in agreement that Soul is perfect for audience members of all ages and backgrounds. Based off what we think of the film so far, we believe audience and critics will agree that Soul is a crushing hit for Disney and Pixar and we can’t wait for the films premiere on Christmas Day exclusively on Disney+!
Last week Disney and Pixar announced the new animated movie Soul would be bypassing theaters and premiere exclusively on Disney+ for the Holidays! Starting December 25th, Disney+ subscribers will be able to stream the new Disney-Pixar film from any Disney+ compatible device. (And don’t worry, there is no premier access needed, hurray!)

Determined to return to his life, Joe teams up with a precocious soul, 22 (voice of Tina Fey), who has never understood the appeal of the human experience. As Joe desperately tries to show 22 what’s great about living, he may just discover the answers to some of life’s most important questions. ”
Soul explores that spark inside of everyone that makes life worth dying for. Though that may look different to each individual and sometimes we get lost along the way, it’s never too late to find your purpose, inspire others, and chase after your dreams.
The cast of Soul features the vocal talents of Jamie Foxx and Tina Fey, Angela Bassett, Phylicia Rashad, Ahmir ‘Questlove’ Thompson, Phylicia Rashad and Daveed Diggs.
