Disney Picks Up Sci-Fi Project ‘The Runner’

According to the Hollywood Reporter Disney has picked up a new sci-fi series called ‘The Runner’. Here are the details:

Disney has picked up a sci-fi adventure project from Dave Andron, the developer of NBC’s recent Knight Rider reboot, titled The Runner, with Marc Forster attached to direct.

Brian Grazer and his Imagine Entertainment banner are producing along with Zak Kadison of Blacklight Transmedia. Forster will also produce with his Apparatus shingle partner Brad Simpson.

The story centers on a lone man who is sent back in time to change the course of history but who also has a personal motive of saving the love of his life.
