Disney Monorail and Skyliner to resume operations for reopening
Disney World monorail will resume operations starting on July 11th with the reopening of the Magic Kingdom.
The Express and Resort monorail will be in operation starting on the 11th, however, the Epcot monorail will not be offered even after Epcot reopens on July 15th. Guests will be required to take a bus from their resorts to Epcot.
The capacity for the monorail will be greatly reduced. You can see how Disney is handling the Social Distancing Measures on Disney World Buses here.
In more Disney World Transportation news… Disney’s Skyliner is expected to resume operations starting on July 15th to coincide with the reopening of Epcot and Hollywood Studios.
All three Skyliner lines will be in operation, linking the two open resorts – Disney’s Riviera Resort and Pop Century Resort to EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Hours of operation are expected to be 10 am – 11 pm to EPCOT, and 9 am – 10 pm to Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
