Netflix streaming has had many Disney favorites for a while now; Lilo & Stitch, Tarzan, Mulan, and countless others. They’ve also created the Netflix original series in conjunction with Marvel, “Daredevil” and “Jessica Jones“. In a recent blog post, Netflix announced some huge news about their relationship with Disney:
“From September onwards, Netflix will become the exclusive US pay TV home of the latest films from Disney, Marvel, Lucasfilm and Pixar.”
This is definitely a smart move on Netflix’s part, as so many streaming services are becoming more and more prominent, such as Hulu and Amazon, and network television stations in the midst of creating others. It only makes sense that Netflix would create such a huge partnership to make their brand stand out.
Us Disney fans will eagerly be waiting for September to come around so we can check out the new Netflix additions–may we possibly be seeing some “Star Wars” films? Or maybe more Disney princess movies? What Disney film have you been hoping would be added to Netflix?
