Disney Lorcana Whispers in the Well Revealed
It’s shaping up to be an unforgettable year for Ravensburger’s Disney Lorcana Trading Card Game. Following the massive success of Fabled—which brought the energy and soundtrack of A Goofy Movie straight to tabletops—Illumineers everywhere have been eager to see what’s next. The latest chapter, Whispers in the Well, promises mystery, intrigue, and just the right touch of eerie excitement.
This new set marks the long-awaited arrival of Disney’s The Black Cauldron and beloved ’90s series Gargoyles to the Lorcana universe. And in a particularly inspired bit of timing, Zootopia’s own Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde are joining the fun—just as they return to the big screen in their latest cinematic adventure.
Whispers in the Well arrives for prerelease in local game stores on November 7, followed by a wide release on November 14. Pre-orders are already open, and with the growing popularity of the game, fans will want to act fast.
This set also introduces a brand-new gameplay mechanic called Boost, giving players the chance to amplify abilities and unlock new powers. To “Boost a Whisper,” you’ll place cards from your deck beneath the chosen card—an inventive twist that invites players to experiment with deeper strategies. But one question lingers: where exactly are these Whispers coming from? It’s up to Illumineers to uncover the truth.
For a first look at some of the new cards—like Megara – Secret Keeper, Gaston – Frightful Bully, and Simba – King in the Making—fans can tune in to today’s Special Lorecast broadcast on twitch.tv/DisneyLorcana, or catch the VOD later on YouTube.

Of course, no mention of The Black Cauldron would be complete without its chilling centerpiece: the Cauldron itself, which makes a formidable debut as a powerful card. And looming behind it all is none other than The Horned King, whose dark sorcery as a “Wicked Ruler” allows players to bring banished glimmers back into play—a sinister but strategic advantage.

Looking further ahead, the world of Lorcana will soon turn wintry with the arrival of Winterspell, set for prerelease on February 13, 2026, and a full release on February 20. Expect frosty fun with glimmers from Darkwing Duck and Lilo & Stitch: The Series, who are ready to join in on snowball fights, snowboarding, and mischief galore.
And if that weren’t enough, Q2 2026 will see even more magic from the worlds of Pixar. In Wilds Unknown, beloved characters from Toy Story—including Woody, Buzz, and friends—will make their Lorcana debut, embarking on a new journey across uncharted lands.
For those eager to uncover what’s next, the best clues may already be hidden within the cards themselves. Grab your magnifying glass, keep your ears open for those mysterious Whispers, and prepare for another thrilling year in the world of Disney Lorcana.
