Disney+ Limited-Time Discount Causes D23 Website to Crash

Disney+ Limited-Time Discount Causes D23 Website to Crash. As of yesterday, Disney extended their 2019 D23 Expo special discount for all members (General, Gold, and Gold Family) of D23 , the official Disney fan club, via email and the D23.com website.

Due to popular demand and to access this exclusive and limited time offer, Disney Fans have flocked to their phones and computers to be among the first to sign up for a 3-year subscription for Disney+ at an incredible rate! Only the response has been so great the D23 website has crashed as a result of the higher than usual volume of traffic of folks hoping to join the fan club before it’s too late.

Disney is hoping to have the website back up and running soon so fans can take advantage of both this offer and be some of the first to hear exclusive news about Disney Entertainment, Disney Parks, and Special Events by Disney from D23. If you are hoping to become a member of D23 and get access to this special offer we recommend checking back regularly and to pardon the pixie dust while Disney works on the site. Some folks are reporting the site is back up and running, while others are still reporting outages at the time of writing this article.

From August 26th through September 2nd Disney is offering the same discount for Disney+ to members of D23! Not a member yet? Don’t worry. You can still sign up and receive the same offer! Here’s how it works:

Disney is offering a limited time discount to their new streaming service, Disney+, before it launches November 12th to all D23 General, Gold, and Gold Family Members with an active membership by September 1, 2019.

You can save $23 USD/annually for signing up on a 3-year Disney+ subscription. Saving 33% off the standard annual price! So you would be paying $46.99 USD per year instead of the standard $69.99 USD per year, or a total of $140.97 USD instead of $209.97 USD for the 3-year subscription. That’s like paying for 2-years and getting the 3rd year of Disney+ FREE!

D23 Members should have received an email regarding the limited-time discount, you can follow the prompt in the email by clicking the REDEEM NOW button. If you did not receive the email or you wish to become a member of D23, simply visit D23.com and sign-in or create a new account.

If you wish to accept this exclusive offer from Disney it is a one-time payment for the discounted 3-year subscription, and you should expect to pay approximately $140.97 USD. Once the payment is processed you will be all signed up for your 3-year subscription and can access Disney+ starting November 12th!

New members may not have immediate access to the offer, but should receive an email from D23 within 36 hours of signing up to redeem the exclusive Disney+ discount! Woo hoo! If you wish to join D23 be sure to do so before September 1st to be eligible for the limit time discount.
