Video of the performance has been shared to Twitter by tribal attorney Tara Houska and has sparked major backlash and outrage.
Disney has since responded saying, “We regret this performance took place as it did not reflect the audition tape that was submitted. We have immediately put measures in place to ensure performances reflect the auditions.”
Schools have to submit an audition tape prior to being allowed to perform at Walt Disney World. We aren’t sure exactly what measures have now been put in place to make sure performances match the auditions.
