TalentHouse shares: “Attention illustrators, we need all hands on deck! Join Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt for the adventure of a lifetime with Disney’s Jungle Cruise coming to theaters and Disney+ with Premier Access July 30! To amplify the dual release of the movie, Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures (“Disney”) is inviting artists to create one-of-a-kind digitally illustrated posters inspired by the adventures and excitement of the movie.

The judges are looking for captivating, inspired imagery that showcases your unique art style and conveys the epic scope of the movie. Think wild rides, suspenseful chases, and amazing creatures that make the movie come to life! Artists are encouraged to check out the trailerposterYouTube playlist, and imagery from the movie to get inspiration for their works. Ten (10) pieces of art will be selected by Disney as the Selected Creators. Each will receive $2,000.

Inspired by the famous Disneyland theme park ride, Disney’s “Jungle Cruise” is an adventure-filled, rollicking thrill-ride down the Amazon with wisecracking skipper Frank Wolff and intrepid researcher Dr. Lily Houghton. Lily travels from London, England to the Amazon jungle and enlists Frank’s questionable services to guide her downriver on La Quila—his ramshackle-but-charming boat. Lily is determined to uncover an ancient tree with unparalleled healing abilities—possessing the power to change the future of medicine. Thrust on this epic quest together, the unlikely duo encounters innumerable dangers and supernatural forces, all lurking in the deceptive beauty of the lush rainforest. But as the secrets of the lost tree unfold, the stakes reach even higher for Lily and Frank and their fate—and mankind’s—hangs in the balance.

Best of luck to the artists and be sure to check back here at Chip and Co. for updates and all things Disney!
