Disney+ Is Developing a Halloween Themed Original Film Called 'Spooked'

Disney+ Is Developing a Halloween Themed Original Film Called ‘Spooked‘. Disney+ is home to many Halloween themed episodes and films such as Hocus Pocus, Halloweentown, The Haunted Mansion, and more. Well it appears we are in for a treat! Irish filmmaker Peter Foott has partnered with Disney+ to create an all-new Disney+ Original Film called ‘Spooked‘.

Spooked will reportedly follow a group of Trick-or-Treater’s who are magically transformed into the characters and creatures they had dressed up as for the spooky holiday. The movie is also said to be a supernatural comedy and won’t be as serious or frightening as it may appear.

Peter will be directing the project and using the script penned by Tyler Burton Smith. Mark Bauch has been named executive producer for the film, with Dan Lin and Jonathan Eirich acting as producers. No casting decisions have been announced at this time and it is likely the film will premiere on Disney+ in Fall 2021, though an official premiere date has not been determined.
