Ray and Evangeline Join Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at Magic Kingdom

Walt Disney Imagineering has sprinkled a little extra stardust on Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, unveiling a heartfelt addition that will light up the hearts of guests. The announcement, made on Instagram, introduced Ray and Evangeline as the latest magical details added to the reimagined attraction at Magic Kingdom.

Fans of The Princess and the Frog will recognize Ray, the lovable Cajun firefly, and his eternal love, Evangeline, the Evening Star. Their story, filled with romance and devotion, shines brighter than ever in Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. In the film’s poignant finale, Ray joins Evangeline in the night sky, where the two glow together as stars. Now, this iconic duo has found their way into the ride, illuminating a miniature New Orleans cityscape under a breathtaking starry sky.

Guests will encounter Ray and Evangeline toward the end of the attraction, just past the finale scene. As the glittering skyline of New Orleans unfolds, the Evening Star twinkles above, with Ray shining alongside her—just as they do at the end of the film. It’s a beautiful nod to their enduring love story and a magical way to bring the spirit of the movie to life in Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.
