Kevin Lansberry Honored with Main Street, U.S.A. Window at Magic Kingdom

A little extra pixie-dusted prestige just landed on Main Street, U.S.A. as longtime Disney executive Kevin Lansberry has officially received one of the park’s most meaningful honors. Following his retirement in February 2026 after an impressive 39-year career, Lansberry was recognized with a personalized window display in Magic Kingdom, joining an elite group of Disney legends whose names are forever woven into the park’s storytelling.

Lansberry’s career reads like a greatest hits tour of Disney leadership, with roles spanning both coasts and multiple divisions. He served as Vice President of Downtown Disney at Walt Disney World, VP of Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Senior VP of Worldwide Travel Operations, and later climbed to Executive VP and CFO of Disney Parks and Resorts. He even stepped in as interim CFO for The Walt Disney Company in 2023. His impact stretched far beyond spreadsheets, helping shape the guest experience across parks, products, and global operations.

The window itself now sits proudly on the blue façade of the Main Street Bakery, right in the heart of the action. Designed in classic Main Street style, it reads “Main Street Trust & Loan” with Lansberry listed as Director, along with the heartfelt tagline “Care Compassion Commitment” and the phrase “Investing in Making Dreams Come True.” The ceremony took place on April 10 with Disney leadership in attendance, including Josh D’Amaro and Jeff Vahle, making it a moment worthy of a standing ovation right on Main Street.

Main Street windows are not handed out like park maps. According to Disney tradition, they are only awarded upon retirement, reserved for individuals of the highest achievement and respect, and require approval from both top park leadership and Walt Disney Imagineering. Each one tells a story, and Lansberry’s window adds another chapter to the living history that lines Main Street, U.S.A.

So next time you stroll past the Main Street Bakery with a Starbucks in hand, look up. You might just spot a name that helped make the magic happen behind the scenes.
