Disney Hiring for New Musical Coming to Hyperion Theater at Disney California Adventure
The Hyperion Theater at Disney California Adventure has not featured a show for almost 3 years. Now, a new musical is coming and Disney is hiring singers, dancers, and actors!

The last show to be shown at the Hyperion Theater was โFrozen โ Live at the Hyperionโ which ended when the parks closed in 2020 due to Covid-19. Now, Disney is looking to hire actors, singers, and dancers for a new show.
The Singers/Actors role is listed as:
โDisney Live Entertainment is seeking submissions from MUSICAL THEATRE PERFORMERS for an exciting new Broadway-caliber theatrical production at the Disneyland Resort, planned for a limited run in the state-of-the-art, indoor, 2000-seat Hyperion Theater at Disney California Adventure Park.
This new musicalย project will come to life through the creativity ofย Disney Live Entertainmentย in partnership with book writerย Hunter Bell,ย star and book writer of the Tony Award nominatedย [title of show] andย featuring music by Emmy-nominated and Grammy-winning composerย Christopher Lennertz.

Seeking performers to play the roles listed below:
Role #1/Featured Principalย โ 3 Female identifying roles, 20โs to 50โs.ย Vocal Range: All. Style: Proficient with harmonization and ability to sing in many styles from Destinyโs Child to Andrew Sisters.ย These three performers are a fun, energetic and musical sisterhood that actsย as the occasional โGreek Chorusโ.ย ย All abilities and types welcome.
Role #2/Featured Principalย โ Female identifying, mid 20โs to early 30โs.ย Vocal Range: Mezzo Soprano. Style: contemporary musical theatre.ย Brave, resourceful and intelligent.ย Must have a strong English accent. ย All abilities and types welcome.
Role #3/Featured Principalย โ Male identifying, 17 to 20.ย Vocal Range: Tenor.ย Style: contemporary musical theater.ย ย Young man coming into his greatness.ย ย All abilities and types welcome.
Role #4/Featured Principalย โ Male identifying, 30โs to 40โs. Vocal Range: Baritone/Tenor. Style: contemporary musical theatre.ย He is decisive, capable, principled and has a wry sense of humor.ย Leads others with attitude and swagger.ย ย All abilities and types welcome.
Role #5/Featured Principalย โ Male identifying, mid 20โs to early 30โs.ย Vocal Range: Baritone/Tenor. ย Style: contemporary musical theater.ย He is a noble, loyal, idealistic, and romantic do-gooder, who does not give up easily.ย ย All abilities and types welcome.
Singer/Chorusย โ Male and Female identifying, any age.ย Vocal Range: All. Style: contemporary musical theatre.ย These performers will play many roles and create the world for this story.ย Some roles will be required to dance.ย ย All abilities and types welcome.
