As the grand opening of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at Walt Disney World draws near, set for June 28, Disney has unveiled an inside look at the creative process behind the attraction’s iconic water tower. Crafted in collaboration with Orlando-based Icarus Exhibits, the tower features a majestic tiara topping its 32-foot structure and bears the Tiana’s Foods co-op logo, integrating elements from Disney’s “The Princess and the Frog.”

The design and construction process was a partnership between Walt Disney Imagineering and Icarus Exhibits, a local business specializing in themed environments since 1987. Peter Ricci, principal show manager at Walt Disney Imagineering, highlighted the longstanding relationship with Icarus, noting their consistent delivery of exceptional results. The collaborative effort included meticulous planning from initial design mock-ups to the final installation, ensuring the water tower not only resonates with the story of Tiana’s Foods but also enhances the immersive experience at the parks.
