In celebration of the DVD/Blu-ray release of TANGLED on March 29, a highly visual charity event in association with The Buzz Girls took place at the Bungalow Salon, a “celebrity favorite” in West Hollywood. The event benefited esteemed charity Locks of Love, which provides hair pieces to financially disadvantaged children suffering from long term medical hair loss. Several celebrity hair-stylists offered up complimentary haircuts to those who wished to donate their hair (or money) to Locks of Love.
A larger-than-life Rapunzel braid hung from a Tangled tower replica, and acted as a “hair-length thermometer”, demonstrating the cumulative length of hair cut in each hour, when combined end to end.
