The Tropical Americas land, announced by Disney Parks Chairman Josh D’Amaro at Destination D23 last year, will replace DinoLand U.S.A. In April, Imagineering shared a video featuring models of the new land and a discussion by Imagineer Neal Emery about a research trip that inspired its design.

The new area will feature experiences from “Encanto” and “Indiana Jones,” with the DINOSAUR attraction being rethemed to the latter. Although the DINOSAUR and Indiana Jones Adventure rides share the same track layout, the new theme will better align with the Tropical Americas setting.
