Disney files permit for Swiss Family Treehouse in the Magic Kingdom- could this mean a possible refurb alongside many of the refurbishments and expansions happening at Walt Disney World possibly in time for the 50th Anniversary of the Magic Kingdom!
Ahead of the 50th Anniversary of Walt Disney World, Disney continue to refurbish many beloved attractions from It’s a Small World, Peter Pan’s Flight to completely repainting Cinderella’s Castle! It seems Disney are focusing its refurbishments on attractions which opened back when the Magic Kingdom first opened!
So Disney files permit for Swiss Family Treehouse, a beloved walkthrough attraction in Adventureland. Where guests can explore the adventurous treehouse and witness breathtaking views of Adventureland including The Jungle Cruise, inspired by the original Disney classic, The Swiss Family Robison!
The permit filed seems to be a basic permit requesting “labour, materials and/or electrical for construction”. This low key permit could cover small repair works for the attraction such as wiring, broken items or even a refresh of the decor!
