With Hurricane Irma speeding its way across the Atlantic, Disney Cruise Line informed guests setting sail from Port Canaveral today that they would be switching the order of ports during the Western Caribbean sailing departing today in order to keep cruisers out of harm’s reach.
According to guests heading out to sea on the Fantasy, letters were handed out at Check-In informing cruisers that the itinerary for the cruise would be reversed. This would make the updated itinerary look something like this:
09/02/17: Port Canaveral
09/03/17: At Sea
09/04/17: Falmouth, Jamaica
09/05/17: Grand Cayman
09/06/17: Cozumel, Mexico
09/07/17: At Sea
09/08/17: Castaway Cay
09/09/17: Port Canaveral
There’s no word yet as to whether other Disney sailings are being impacted by Irma’s approach. Readers are encouraged to keep following along with Chip an Co for the latest news and developments.
