When Walt Disney World reopened last summer, the parks implemented new health and safety measures. One of those measures was physical distancing at dining locations. Some tables were marked as unavailable in order to allow guests to dine safely. Now, those markers have been removed from outdoor dining areas.

Now, all tables at outdoor dining locations are open for guests to use. Tables were also previously spaced out. They are now not any more distanced than they were pre-pandemic.
Physical distancing is still in place inside dining locations. Signs and stickers are still present at select tables inside the restaurants indicating which ones are not open for guests.

This is not the first step Disney World has taken to move towards more normal operations. The parks have reduced physical distancing in other areas, done away with temperature screening, and allowed for guests to remove masks while outdoors.
