Disney Receives Record-Breaking 94 Children’s & Family Emmy Award Nominations
Today, The Walt Disney Company secured a historic 94 Emmy® Awards nominations in the Children’s & Family category. These nominations encompass the various content brands and studios under Disney’s umbrella, including Disney Branded Television, Disney Channel, Disney Junior, Disney Television Studios (20th Television and ABC Signature), Hulu Originals, Lucasfilm Ltd., Marvel Animation, Marvel Studios, Pixar Animation Studios, Walt Disney Animation Studios, and Walt Disney Studios.
This impressive number of nominations surpasses the 86 nominations received in the company’s inaugural year in 2022. Of these nominations, Disney Branded Television stands out with a remarkable 74 nominations, spanning Disney+, Disney Channel, and Disney Junior. This achievement marks the highest number of nominations for any group within Disney. Additionally, Disney’s streaming platforms, Disney+ and Hulu, secured 61 and two nominations, respectively.
Disney Branded Television swept two specific categories: Main Title and Younger Performer in a Preschool, Children’s, or Young Teen Program. These categories encompass a wide array of content, both live-action and animated, scripted and unscripted, catering to children, tweens, teens, and families.
