See the Disney Dream Decorated for Disney Cruise Line Very Merrytime Voyages

The Disney Dream is decorated for the holidays and Disney Cruise Line’s Very Merrytime sailings! Everywhere from the lobby to the restaurants have received festive decor.

Beautiful Christmas trees can be seen throughout the ship. The lobby houses the main, big tree, while other smaller ones can be found around the ship. All of the trees are decorated with festive ornaments, poinsettias, and bows. We especially love the tree outside of Animator’s Palate. It’s a silver tree with large ball ornaments, white poinsettias, and film reel ribbon.

Also found in the ship’s atrium is the giant gingerbread house! Outside of the house is a sign that tells all about it. It was developed and created by the Disney pastry chefs and it took approximately 230 hours from development to completion. Each brick was individually aligned and stuck to the frame with icing. Other details include:

• 750 lbs gingerbread dough
• 3500 gingerbread bricks
• 1900 gingerbread bricks on the roof
• 160 lbs icing sugar
• 10 days total working hours
