Disney Cruise Line Details New Entertainment on Disney Destiny for Heroes and Villains-Themed Ship
With the maiden voyage less than two months away, the Disney Destiny is preparing to welcome its first guests with a new lineup of entertainment focused on its core theme of legendary heroes and villains. Disney Cruise Line has released details on immersive experiences set to debut in November.

The ship’s most striking and prominent gathering place, the Grand Hall, will serve as a central entertainment hub. This venue draws its inspiration from the rich lore and vibrant color palette of Marvel Studios’ Black Panther. The space will host a variety of all-new offerings, including “Sounds of Wakanda,” a musical celebration featuring traveling percussionists whose rhythms are inspired by the stories and culture of Wakanda.
Traveling Storytellers and Adult Comedy
Beyond the Grand Hall, the ship will feature two new traveling storytellers, Zayah and Gamble, who will host immersive experiences throughout each voyage. Zayah, a fortune teller, will weave tales using a mysterious book, while Gamble will conjure adventures with his collection of elixirs. The duo’s enchanted trunks are said to react to the powerful energy and magic of classic Disney villains.
Curated exclusively for adults, the new sketch comedy show “With Great Power: A Marvel Comedy Show” will debut in the Saga entertainment lounge. The show invites guests on an interactive journey through some of the most iconic moments of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, utilizing comically low-budget props, homemade sound effects, and sight gags to bring the stories to life. The Disney Destiny’s inaugural sailings will showcase these unique offerings this November.
