Walk in the footsteps of Walt Disney himself as you take a behind-the-scenes tour of the Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen, Denmark. This Disney Cruise Line exclusive experience explores this age-old amusement park that inspired Walt Disney to create our beloved Disneyland. These gardens host a variety of attractions such as merry-go-rounds, whimsical rides, and even a 100 year old roller coaster.
Meet Princess Leia’s Necklace Designer in Helsinki, Finland
A new experience has been added to 2017 sailings. Guests will have the unique opportunity to meet the designer of the ceremonial necklace worn by Princess Leia in the final scene of “Star Wars:Episode IV A New Hope“. Guests will have the opportunity to admire other pieces created by the Finnish artist, jewelry designer, and sculptor Bjorn Weckstrom. The artist himself will welcome everyone into his private residence for this unique experience.
Catherine Palace in St. Petersburg, Russia
Disney Cruise Line guests are invited to a royal ball inside Catherine Palace when the Disney Magic visits St. Petersburg, Russia. Royal Courtiers dance with a live orchestra at this gala offering regal festivities to all who attend. This beautiful palace with its gilded walls, hand-painted ceilings and period artwork will immerse guests in 18th century Russian palace life.
During it’s 2017 and 2018 sailings the Disney Magic will be visiting Denmark, Estonia, Russia, Finland, and Sweden. Longer voyages offer additional stops in England, Germany, and the Netherlands.
