I have some interesting Parks News again! In case you missed my article about Test Track Closing earlier this week its right here. On the heels of that gossip I bring wine gifts of new Disney Closure Gossip.
Writers for the website WDW Magic made an interesting discovery yesterday: While schedules for January have been over for two weeks, Fantasmic isn’t listed on the schedule at all.
Does this mean something as simple as routine maintenance or will the show be enhanced in some way?
While we like to dream about some variation of Disneyland’s World of Color coming to Hollywood Studios, we haven’t heard a whisper about it. With revenue and resources being directed toward the Fantasyland expansion, Downtown Disney and the newest Disney Vacation Club property at the Grand Floridian, it’s more likely that it’s a temporary closure for maintenance.
Chip seems to think that Disney should bring in Marvel Studios to the late night attraction. Maybe a huge battle with the Avengers with lasers and all that jazz. Dumb Good idea Chip!
Will keep you posted if we hear anything.

I would love to see Disney do something with Marvel now that they own it. Maybe some type of Marvel experience at Downtown Disney coupled with a themed restaurant. Either that or in Epcot. They could utilize the theater where the worn out and dated “Captian EO” is for a 3D or 4D experience, a ride nearby and some type of “hands on” exhibit showing the tech from some of the films like Ironman.

Sighs…. another something I was looking forward to closed to “refurbishment”. I hope this is a rumor… It’s on the schedule through the 4th… we arrive the 6th.
Where is the article about test track? When I click on the link it doesnt take me there. My kids will be so bummed if it is closed!!
They didnt have it listed for later this year called disney cm said it was a glitch. doubt its closing, and no way should marvel ever come int he parks it belongs in unverisal and should stay there
