Hey there ladies and gents your friendly gossip spreader columnist Anonymouse here. Today I want to discuss some very interesting news that is coming out of Walt Disney World.
Before you ask yes that title is correct. The newly burned refurbished Enchanted Tiki Room will soon be under Old Management. News broke on Sunday at the D23 event that the Enchanted Tiki Room will reopen this summer at Disney’s Magic Kingdom, minus the “new management” piece of the attraction. Everyone Cheer!!!
Disney reps stated that the ride will be restored to a version similar to the way it was when it first opened in 1971.
If you remember last year a fire erupted in the attic of the attraction, setting the sprinkler system off on guests who were sleeping watching the show. Firefighters were able to keep the fire from spreading beyond the attic area, but the Enchanted Tiki Room has been closed ever since.
