Donald Duck, Daisy, Chip and Dale Meet and Greets Flying the Coop from DinoLand U.S.A.

The dinos aren’t the only ones going extinct at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. With the closure of DinoLand U.S.A. set for February 2, 2026, some beloved character meet and greets will be packing up their prehistoric digs and moving to new homes in the park.

Currently, guests can catch Donald Duck rocking his dino-inspired look near Restaurantosaurus, while Daisy Duck strikes a pose along the lower part of Cretaceous Trail. Chip and Dale, dressed as the most adorable “Chipmunk-o-saurus” duo, are just up the trail for dino-sized hugs and shenanigans. But all of that will change when the land officially shutters next year.

Disney has confirmed that Donald, Daisy, and Chip ‘n’ Dale will continue to meet guests in new spots around Animal Kingdom starting February 2, the day after DinoLand’s closure. Their exact new locations are still under wraps, but one thing is certain: the dinos may disappear, but these fan-favorite characters aren’t going extinct anytime soon.

For those who want one last roar with them in their current setting, the final day to meet Donald, Daisy, and Chip ‘n’ Dale in DinoLand will be February 1, 2026 — the same day DinoLand U.S.A. closes its doors forever. So if you’ve got fond memories of Donald’s Dino-Bash or just love seeing Chip and Dale in their prehistoric best, make sure to plan a visit before their fossil record is sealed.
