Do you think of flowers, eggs, and bunnies when you think of Spring? Why not also think about Disney too! Disney offers many ways to celebrate Spring at their parks and resorts around the world.
Shanghai Disney Resort will be celebrating their first Spring season with an “Egg-tastic Celebration.” This festival offers several Easter-inspired events and entertainment including a scavenger hunt, spring-themed food and beverage items, and of course appearances from your favorite Disney characters! This festival runs 10 days to Easter Sunday, April 16th.
Over in Hong Kong Disneyland, over one hundred characters will be taking part in their “Disney Friends Springtime Processional.” Catch Mickey, Minnie and other Disney favorites decked out in their Spring best riding parade floats adorned with beautiful blooms. This unique event to Hong Kong Disneyland runs until April 17th, 2017.
Take part in Tokyo Disney’s “Easter Program.” This program features Usatama, mischievous bunny-eared characters known for causing chaos all over Tokyo’s Parks.
In addition to celebrating Spring, Disneyland Paris will be celebrating also be celebrating their 25th anniversary on April 12th, 2017. Celebrations have already started including a new parade, two castle shows, and a nighttime spectacular. During “Disney Illuminations,” jump into your favorite Disney movie as scenes are projected onto Sleeping Beauty Castle. Transport yourself into a far away galaxy during Star Tours: The Adventure Continues.
Walt Disney World offers you several chances to celebrate the Spring season. Start off in Epcot for the International Flower and Garden Festival. This iconic even features signature topiaries reflecting Disney characters. Also make sure to eat around the world with foods made from the freshest ingredients. While you are there, purchase one of the new refillable acrylic wine glasses to drink on the Epcot Wine Stroll. You can hop down the bunny trail to the Magic Kingdom to have a meet and greet with Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny. This popular couple are making appearances in Town Square until April 16th. As an added bonus, a special Easter per-parade will make it’s way through the Magic Kingdom prior to the Festival of Fantasy of parade on April 15th and 16th. Across the country in Disneyland, take part in the “Egg-stravaganza Scavenger Hunt.” Running until April 16th, this egg-themed scavenger hunt takes place all over Disneyland Park, California Adventure, and Downtown Disney. Also, going on until April 16th, is the California Adventure Food & Wine Festival. Don’t forget to take in the Main Street Electrical Parade which has been extended until August 20th!
The Springtime fun is not just limited to the parks! Several restaurants at Disney resorts will be offering special Easter brunch and tea options while you can check out the famous Easter Egg Display at the Grand Floridian in Walt Disney World.
