Disney+ Celebrates 35 Years of ‘Home Alone’

In a massive, larger-than-life tribute to the 35th anniversary of the beloved holiday classic, Home Alone, Disney+ is giving fans across the nation an unforgettable holiday experience throughout the month of December.

From a Guinness World Records attempt at the largest gingerbread house inspired by the iconic McCallister residence, to ordering “A Lovely Cheese Pizza” at a Little Nero’s pop-up, and a travel activation with CLEAR to ensure “No Kevin Left Behind,” the celebration brings the movie’s most iconic moments to life.

The entire Home Alone franchise is currently streaming on Disney+ and Hulu, which is also offering a nonstop, 330-minute Stream of the first three films on Disney+ for maximum holiday hijinks.

Attempting a World Record: The McCallister Gingerbread House

Disney+ and Hulu are taking holiday baking to an entirely new level by attempting to smash an official GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title. They are constructing what will be the World’s Largest Gingerbread House, inspired by the McCallister home.

• Size: The house will stand at a staggering 58 feet long, 42 feet wide, and 25.6 feet tall.
• Ingredients: It requires 5,700 pounds of all-purpose flour, over 4,200 eggs, and is constructed from 4,400 gingerbread brick tiles and 800 roof tiles, all held together with 20 gallons of edible glue.

Where to See It:

Weather permitting, the edible mansion will be open to the public in the evenings on December 18 and 19 at Hollywood and Vine in Los Angeles, California. Visitors are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate to Toys for Tots while visiting the site.

Little Nero’s Rolls Out Nationwide

Fans can finally place Kevin’s famous order as Disney+ partners with Prince St. Pizza to bring the fictional Little Nero’s Pizzeria to life.

From December 10 to 17, participating Prince St. Pizza locations nationwide will be rebranded with Little Nero’s pizza boxes, updated menus, and collectible packaging.

• The Pizza: Prince St. Pizza will temporarily rename its classic cheese pizza “The Lovely Cheese Pizza.”
• Immersive Experience: The Studio City location in Los Angeles will receive a full interior-and-exterior makeover, complete with nostalgic touches and the iconic Little Nero’s delivery car parked outside for the ultimate photo opportunity. Locations in Chicago and Toronto will also feature special decor.

“No Kevin Left Behind” CLEAR Activation

Just in time for the busy holiday travel rush, Disney+ and CLEAR are ensuring every family gets where they need to go with a special “No Kevin Left Behind” airport activation running from December 17 to 21.

• Holiday Cheer: CLEAR+ Members at nine major U.S. airports will receive limited-edition Home Alone-themed ornaments.
• A Nod to Kevin: In an added delight, CLEAR+ Members who are actually named Kevin and use select CLEAR+ Lanes will receive a complimentary CLEAR Concierge service code for a future trip!

Bringing the iconic, frantic shout to life, VIZIO users can launch the Disney+ app with a touch of holiday magic. From December 19 to 31, simply say (or shout!) “KEVIN!” into the VIZIO Voice Remote to instantly launch Disney+ and stream Home Alone.
