The Walt Disney Co is no longer doing business with one of their main Toy Makers in China over labor violations. The Dongguan Qing Xi Juantiway Plastic Factory has been flagged by the US based ‘China Labor Watch‘ which monitors manufacturing in China.

“Our investigation has revealed that Dongguan Qing Xi Juantiway Plastic Factory failed to remediate hiring and human resource issues identified during an investigation of the facility last year, despite our encouragement of remediation and their contractual requirements to us,” Disney said in their report.

According to Bloomberg Disney has maintained an International Labor Standards program since 1996 to work with companies and governments to prevent labor abuses. A staff of 120 people in 12 countries helps improve working conditions in over 30,000 factories. About 28 percent of those plants were located in China.

The Dongguan Qing Xi Juantiway Plastic Factory made products for Disney’s Frozen product line.
