Disney Cast Members begin Walt Disney World Railroad Training

The Walt Disney World Railroad has been closed for a few years now as construction for the new TRON coaster happens. Now, Disney Cast Members have begun training for the railroad!

While we’ve seen the Walt Disney World Railroad being tested recently, we weren’t sure of a reopening date for the attraction. It seems like it could be soon with cast members going through training right now.

Walt Disney World Cast & Community shared the announcement on Facebook:

“Our week started off on the right track! Our first group of Magic Kingdom Cast Members began TRAINing – the next step in the ongoing process to restore the Walt Disney World Railroad. Welcome aboard, and welcome home Engineers! 🚂 ✨ #DisneyCastLife #MKCast”

We are getting closer to the Walt Disney World Railroad returning to Magic Kingdom and we can’t wait!
