Disney Cast Member Celebrates Galaxy’s Edge Anniversary with New Legacy LIGHTSABER Hilt

As the 5th anniversary of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge approaches, Disney is set to release a special collectible that is sure to excite both avid collectors and casual fans alike. The new ‘Hilt of a Jedi’ box set, featuring a Legacy LIGHTSABER hilt inspired by Ki-Adi-Mundi, will be available starting tomorrow at Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities in both Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort, as well as online at DisneyStore.com.

This limited-edition hilt embodies the spirit of the Cerean Jedi Master Ki-Adi-Mundi, whose adventures were captured in both the Star Wars prequel trilogy and the animated series, Star Wars: The Clone Wars. The hilt itself is beautifully crafted and comes in a collectible wooden box adorned with the symbol of Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities. Also included in the set is a Disney Parks exclusive edition of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge #1 comic book, drawn by notable Star Wars artists, and an individually numbered insert card featuring a quote and the official 5th-anniversary logo.

When attached to a separately sold Legacy LIGHTSABER blade, the hilt illuminates in Ki-Adi-Mundi’s signature blue. Cody Hampton, senior manager of merchandising at Disney Consumer Products and a life-long Star Wars fan, expressed his enthusiasm for the new release. He remarked on the deep connection to the story that each piece of merchandise holds, especially this new hilt which has a direct link to the character’s rich history.
