Disney begins refurbishment on the exterior of Dinosaur in the Animal Kingdom. Aladar, the main Igunadon Dinosaur, in the Disney movie “Dinosaur”, stands outside the ride of the same name. Normally he is a multi-hued green color, but recently he has been cleaned and primed and is now a very drab white.

While we were at Disney’s Animal Kingdom today, we had the chance to see the artists mixing up paint for the new refreshing paint job on Aladar. Over time, with the Florida sun and rain, Aladar has become off-color and was not looking his best. Over the coming days, he should look brand new and be ready for his PhotoPass session.

Dinosaur in the Animal Kingdom is undergoing a complete facelift over the next few weeks.
