Disney Begins Production for 5th Predator Movie. According to Deadline, Disney has signed on Dan Trachtenberg (10 Cloverfield Lane) to direct a fifth installment of the Predator movie franchise. The currently untitled project is in the early stages, but it is confirmed the new film will follow the events after Shane Black’s The Predator (2018).
No formal casting decisions have been made and it is currently unknown if any of the previous cast members will be reprising their roles, well… at least the ones who survived. It IS a Predator sequel after all. This will be one of the first new film projects from 20th Century Studios ordered by their new parent company The Walt Disney Company after the acquisition of Fox in 2019.
