Disney has three apps on sale for iOs until March 4th. I was so lucky to get to review these three apps for my little one, and I hope you’ll take advantage of this sale!
- Toy Story 2 Read-Along for $1.99 (orig. $4.99)
In this action-packed adventure, Woody learns all about his past and makes new friends that are sure to last a lifetime. Delightful animations and surprise features fill each page, and children can even record their own voice and listen to themselves narrating this lovable tale.
Here is What I Thought: Your preschooler and early reader will enjoy this app because it has the option of letting the narrator read to your child OR your child read it for him or herself. The voice recording feature was so fun for my daughter, and I liked that it could personalize the narration. If I wanted to record myself reading, or let my daughter hear me reading the story to her when I’m not around, I could.
- Toy Story 3 Read-Along for $1.99 (orig. $5.99)
This cinematic, interactive storybook app features characters from Toy Story 3. Children can play exciting games based on scenes from the film. Kids can watch Woody soar above the town, help him to safety in “Hang Glider,” and have a blast with Buzz as they overcome thrilling obstacles in “Falling with Style” – also in 3D.
Here is What I Thought: Of the two Toy Story apps on sale, I liked the Toy Story 3 app better. I liked the 3D aspect of it especially. Also, my daughter wanted to do the puzzles over and over again, as well as play the games and do the paint function. If there is one thing I REALLY like about Disney apps, it’s you get more than you think when you download them. There are games, coloring activities, and in this case puzzles to keep your preschooler entertained.
- it’s a small world for $1.99 (orig. $3.99)
This animated app takes readers on a world-class adventure packed with whimsical interactivity, beautiful artwork, and unforgettable music. Featuring the original Sherman Brothers’ song lyrics, this simple, poetic story encourages kids to meet new people, explore new places, and discover that it’s a small world, after all.
Here is What I Thought: I thought this was a super cute app. I have to say that It’s a Small World is one of my “must do” attractions at Walt Disney World. The song, poem, and artwork are so charming. It works in the classic song, with a sweet story. I think this app is perfect for the quiet evening bedtime routine, sending your child off to sleep and dream of friends in far off places.
Get these apps on the App Store today! They are on sale through March 4th.
