The My Disney Experience and Disneyland apps have introduced a new feature for iPhone users: live mobile order tracking. This allows guests to conveniently monitor the status of their food orders directly from their home screen, enhancing the overall dining experience.

The My Disney Experience and Disneyland apps have enhanced their mobile ordering functionality by integrating with iOS’s Live Activities. Now, after placing an order, guests can view its status directly on their iPhone home screen. This allows for seamless tracking and the ability to quickly notify the restaurant of their arrival by tapping ‘I’m Here, Prepare My Order’ without needing to open the app.
The Live Activities feature enhances the mobile ordering experience. Upon unlocking your phone, a tracking bar appears at the top of the screen, displaying order status, pickup location, and order number. The Live Activities space provides real-time updates on your order’s progress. For added convenience, a push notification will alert you when your food is ready.
The Live Activities feature for mobile food orders is being rolled out today, so it may not be immediately available to all iOS users. Please ensure your app and phone have the latest updates installed. Mobile order is available at most quick-service restaurants throughout Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort. To place an order, locate the desired restaurant on the app’s map or list and select ‘Begin Order,’ or access the ‘Order Food’ option via the plus sign or three-lined menu.
