Disney Animation’s next original feature film WISH set to release Fall 2023
Disney has announced a new animated film for 2023 entitled, WISH. During the Disney Studio Showcase Celebrate the Magic of Disney and Pixar panel Disney announced this new film from Walt Disney Animation Studios. Attendees were shown a teaser trailer and then Alan Tudyk appeared on stage.

Tudyk will play Valentina the talking goat in this brand new animated feature. The film explores how the iconic wishing star came to be. The film is set in the Kingdom of Wishes, a magical land where wishes literally can and do come true.
Alan Tudyk is best known for his roles in Rogue One, Knight’s Tale, and Firefly. The film also stars Ariana DeBose as Asha. The musical will be directed by Chris Buck and Fawn Veerasunthorn. The two directors will merge together new and old animation styles in the full length Disney animated film.
A new musical score will be composed by Julia Michaels, songwriter for notable artists such as Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, Brittany Spears, Justin Beiber, and more. Wish releases in November of 2023.
