Disney Adds Rick Riordan’s “Daughter of the Deep” Movie to Upcoming Disney+ Projects. Disney+ subscribers are already excited for the upcoming “Percy Jackson and the Olympians” live-action series, and now Disney has shared that another Rick Riordan project is coming to the hit streaming service! Disney+ is currently developing a Daughter of the Deep Disney+ Original Movie that will be an adaption of Riordan’s new book by the same name. Aditi Brennan Kapil will be joining Rick as a co-writer for the adapted script.

“In a race against deadly enemies, Ana will make amazing friends and astounding discoveries about her heritage as she puts her leadership skills to the test for the first time. Rick Riordan’s trademark humour, fast-paced action, and a wide cast of characters are on full display in this undersea adventure.“
