More Reservations Open for Disney’s New Beak and Barrel Tavern at Magic Kingdom

Good news, Disney guests: snagging a seat at the Beak and Barrel Tavern just got a little easier! After opening on August 29 and instantly becoming one of Walt Disney World’s toughest reservations, the new Pirates of the Caribbean–themed lounge has released a wave of new availability, especially for smaller groups.

According to the latest booking calendar, most September and October 2025 dates now show openings for parties of two. That’s a big shift from opening week, when reservations disappeared faster than you could say “Yo Ho” and were booked solid through mid-October.

Larger parties, however, may still find themselves walking the plank. Tables for four remain scarce, with only limited availability appearing in the system. For groups determined to experience the tavern together, the best bet may be splitting into multiple smaller reservations or keeping a weather eye out for cancellations.

The Beak and Barrel has quickly become a fan favorite. Nestled in Adventureland, this 45-minute immersive lounge experience combines themed cocktails, small plates, pirate storytelling, and rollicking sea shanty sing-alongs. It’s been described by fans as a cross between Trader Sam’s, Pirates of the Caribbean, and a dash of the old Adventurers Club — making it one of Disney’s most inventive new offerings in years.

Here’s what guests need to know before booking:

  • Reservations required: Available through the My Disney Experience app or website
  • Experience length: Limited to 45 minutes per party
  • Age restrictions: Guests must be 21+ with valid ID to order alcoholic beverages
  • Drink policy: Two-drink maximum per person

For now, Disney has not indicated whether more seating or extended hours might be added. But this new drop in availability offers a golden opportunity for duos hoping to enjoy a night of rum, revelry, and pirate lore inside Magic Kingdom.
