Dig into an all-new Chicago Dog at Caseys Corner (Or Not!). I love a good hot dog from Casey’s Corner in Disney’s Magic Kingdom as much as the next person, but something about this so-called “Chicago” dog doesn’t sit right with me, or my stomach.
First, the positive, we did not manipulate the images at all, they truly are this color in real life, and that ends the positive. It is missing that quintessential “Chicago” vibe to the hot dog. No poppy seed bun, the tomato is actually the paco de Gallo, and there isn’t a pickle, it is a pickled relish with some serious color added to make it neon green. Then mustard is added. Just wrong!
As for the taste, I don’t even want to go into the flavor and mouth feel of this abomination. It texturally was both wet and crunchy, I don’t even know how you can do that, but then to make matters worse, it was both hot (temperature) and cold at the same time, again how does one accomplish that with a hot dog.
